Dark office to bright guest room

This was our third bedroom in our house which was used as a home office. It was pretty boring and dark. I had my desk in our bedroom and my husband had his office downstairs in the basement so it was a useless room in the house as an office. I decided to turn this room into a guest room.
Here is how it turned out to be. I painted it in Quiet rain color by Glidden paint. It’s the most beautiful colors I have ever seen! So calming! My Husband did the window cornice on the window. We replaced the flooring in the whole house and it made a whole lot of difference.

We removed those old sliding closet doors as they were just pain in the neck. The caged light is also a DIYs by my husband.
After & Before
Here is the before and after for you guys! I think I love the “after”, which is so much brighter and lighter as compared to what we had before the “darker” and neglected room. I can’t believe what a huge difference new flooring and paint made in this room!

Here are the sources for you! Paint Color, Cage light
